Investigations Fostered in Sancti Spiritus University

Scientific achievements reported in Sancti Spiritus’s Jose Marti Perez University (UNISS, in Spanish) are consistent with the local intention of getting the center involved in the development of the territory.

According to sources from the institution, researches have been fostered during the last six years with favourable results.

Investigations have been aimed at the intensive production of efficient micro organisms for the ecologic fertilization of the soil and the development of alternative crops to be grown in the mountains, among other important topics.
