As part of her peregrination for Cuba, a Virgen de la Caridad del Cobre replica will arrive on Sunday to Sancti Spiritus, located in the center of the island, and will remain in the province until May 4th.
The Virgin’s itinerary includes visits to the main cities and communities from Cabaiguan, Fomento, La Sierpe, Taguasco, Yaguajay and Sancti Spiritus in which religious activities are to take place.
The image had been already present in Jatibonico and in the months to come it will be seen in Trinidad.
Coming from its sanctuary in El Cobre, Santiago de Cuba, on August 8th 2010, the replica will travel the country until December as part of the homage to honor the 400 anniversary of its discovery.
