Teachers and education officials from Sancti Spiritus get ready for October 22 provincial event Pedagogy 2011, which will be based at the University of Educational Sciences (UCP) Captain Silverio Blanco Núñez.
Sources from the educational sector in the territory told Escambray that the symposia will focus on topics such as education and values formation, training of educators and environmental education for sustainable development, among others.
The debates will also deal with different levels of teaching. The attention to 0-6 year old children, the Evaluation of the Quality of Education, Culture and Education, Physical Education, Sports and Recreation, Scientific Culture, Communication and Divulgation, will be among the relevant topics to be addressed in the symposia.
The 120 papers to be submitted were selected among 239 which qualified at school and municipal levels. Many of them are research projects addressed to solve specific problems at root level.
The International Education Congress (Pedagogy 2011) is scheduled for early next year in Havana with the participation of delegates from each of the provinces and a broad representation of teachers from Latin America.
