Sancti Spiritus Provincial Assembly of the Party in Session

The Provincial Assembly of the Cuban Communist Party in Sancti Spiritus started sessions this May 21th. The meeting was started with the discussion of the report on the development of the territory’s main economic programs along with the strategies adopted to meet the 6th Party Congress’s agreements.

The new Provincial Committee and its Executive Board will be presented at the end of today’s sessions.

Few days ago, the delegates held meetings to analyze the guidelines contained in the Central Report of the 6th congress of the Party and the key speech delivered by Army General Raul Castro Ruz on the closing session.
