New Initiatives to Mark Trinidad’s 500th Foundation Anniversary

A modest black and white newsletter has started to circulate in Trinidad, Cuba, aimed at publishing the major cultural activities on occasion of the village’s 500th foundation anniversary next January, 2014.

The limited edition bulletin is mostly distributed in workplaces and cultural institutions. Its front page headlines the actions being carried out in local patrimonial buildings such as the Malibran House, headquarters of the heritage records center, and the Amargura 85 building.

The supplement, which also provides advance information on the cultural events to take place in the city in the coming months, has the financial support the Curator’s Office of the City and the Valley of the Sugar Mills.
