Esteban Lazo, who is also a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC), visited Vietnam few days after Defense Minister Ngo Xuan Lich met in Havana where he was welcomed by Cuban President Raul Castro and other officials.

In addition, leaders of the Communist Party of Vietnam (PCV) and the PCC held a theoretical seminar here last month, where they had the opportunity of exchanging experiences on socialist construction, a meeting focused on the analysis of documents of the congresses of the respective organizations.
