The forum is aimed at rejecting the attacks by the United States and the international right-wing movements against Venezuelan democracy
Bolivia is willing to help in the organization of the World Summit of Solidarity with Venezuela, called by President Nicolas Maduro, according to statements by Foreign Minister Fernando Huanacuni published today.
‘I think this is a perfect moment to legitimize and respect the institutionalization of Venezuelan government,’ as stated by Foreign Minister.
The meeting is aimed at rejecting continued attacks by the United States and the international right-wing movements against Venezuelan democracy.
In addition, this important event is seeking to fight the media corporations’ campaign against Venezuelan sovereignty and self-determination.
‘We support our comrade Nicolas Maduro for calling the World Summit of Solidarity for Peace in Venezuela,’ President Evo Morales tweeted.
The meeting will be held in a context marked by Donald Trump’s threats to use as much options as possible against Venezuela, including military intervention, condemned by several international governments.
‘The world knows that those who were against Nicolas Maduro only sought the US military intervention,’ Evo tweeted.
Evo Morales said that defending Venezuela is preserving the dignity and sovereignty of Latin America.
