Japanese Prime Minister Begins Official Visit to Cuba Thursday

Prime Minister of Japan, Shinzo Abe, will arrive in Cuba this Thursday for an official visit during which he will hold talks with President Raul Castro, Granma newspaper reported

Cuba and Japan signed on September 19 an agreement to reorganize their medium and long term debts, thus seeking to strengthen their economic, trade, investment and cooperation sectors..

This step completely regularized debts with 13 of the 14 members of the Ad-Hoc Group of the Paris Club, which provides funding streams to projects linked to the plans of Cuban economic and social development.
