Sancti Spiritus Formed More than 2200 New Professionals

Sancti Spiritus graduated 2224 higher education students.

 

On the 30th anniversary of the institution that preceded it, the University of Pedagogical Sciences (UCP, for its Spanish acronym) Capitan Silverio Blanco Núñez graduated 385 students in the fields of Elementary and Special Education, Preschools, Marxism-Leninism and History, Art Instruction and others.

Of these, 18 are from nations like Colombia, Vietnam, Nicaragua, Puerto Rico, El Salvador, Ecuador, Bolivia, Mexico, Honduras and Laos. 168 teachers of Science and Letters who will help to alleviate the need for educators in the classroom also concluded their training in that house of higher learning.

Sancti Spiritus University Jose Marti Perez (UNISS), on its 33rd graduation, conferred academic degrees to 1197 college alumni, which amounts the number of trained professionals in this center to more than 11,000 .

The Faculty of Physical Culture was responsible for the lower number of graduates, with 65 in specialties associated with sports in the types of courses for athletes and regular daytime meetings. Thus the center increased to 2238 those with academic degrees, said dean Jorge Enrique Lopez Rodriguez.

In a ceremony dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the attacks on the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Cespedes Garrisons, and also distinctive for the first time graduation of 33 skilled workers in Vector Control, the Medical Sciences University of Sancti Spiritus closed the block graduation by accrediting 577 new health professionals. Of the academic degrees given, 25 corresponded to young from other nations who will offer their services in their respective countries.
