The 24 member group from Oceania was welcomed by local representatives of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP). The program planned includes a tour to Sancti Spiritus historic center accompanied by the city’s historian.

On Tuesday, the members of the Cruz del Sur Solidarity Brigade visit Trinidad, World Heritage Site since 1998, where they will tour the historic places of one of the best preserved legacies in Latin America and the Caribbean.

On Wednesday, the Cuban friends will visit Yaguajay and on Thursday they are to go to Fomento, municipalities in which they will continue to get involved with Cuban history.

Friday morning Oceania visitors are to depart Villa Clara, where they will pay a visit to Che Guevara’s Memorial.
